About The Position

Ryan Hughes Design and Solana Outdoor Living are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Associate to join our growing team. This is ideal for someone passionate about luxury design, outdoor living, social media, branding, and storytelling.

The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and comfortable with social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn. This person should have strong writing and communication skills and be comfortable assisting with public relations, media outreach, award submissions, blog content, and brand storytelling for both companies.

Ryan Hughes Design is an internationally recognized luxury pool and outdoor living design/build firm, while Solana Outdoor Living specializes in creating high-end outdoor environments and lifestyle
experiences. Together, both brands represent innovation, creativity, and exceptional design within the luxury outdoor living industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create, schedule, and manage engaging social media content across Instagram, TikTok,
    YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn for both brands
  • Stay current on social media trends, digital marketing strategies, and emerging content
    styles
  • Assist with photography, video content, reels, and behind-the-scenes project storytelling
  • Write captions, blogs, newsletters, press releases, and promotional materials
  • Help prepare award submissions, magazine features, media opportunities, and press
    communications
  • Communicate professionally with media outlets, vendors, partners, and industry
    professionals
  • Assist with branding and marketing campaigns that reflect the luxury and innovative image
    of both companies
  • Assist with website updates, project showcases, and portfolio content
  • Collaborate with leadership, design, and sales teams on creative marketing initiatives
  • Help maintain consistent branding and messaging across all platforms

Qualifications

  • Language/Communication Skills
  • Communication skills including oral, written, and listening. These skills may be used when communicating with clients, coordinating projects, attending meetings, training, developing relationships with media representatives, or presenting information.
  • Organizational and time management skills to manage the many details necessary to complete assigned tasks.
  • Demonstrate continuous performance improvement in targeted areas of responsibility in alignment with the overall company strategy
  • Knowledge of office management systems, procedures, and office equipment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office

 

Education Preferred:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)

 

Experience Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other social media platforms
  • Creative mindset and an eye for aesthetics and luxury branding
  • Ability to keep up with current trends in social media, design, and digital marketing
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar content creation tools is a plus.
  • Basic familiarity with photography, videography, and video editing
  • Experience with creating short-form video content and reels is preferred.
  • Interest in luxury design, architecture, outdoor living, or high-end residential brand
  • Basic understanding of branding and digital marketing analytics


Working Environment:

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize numerous tasks
  • Daily computer usage is required for this position

Physical Requirements

Position requires routing lifting, bending, pushing, pulling while handling basic office
supplies and material deliveries up to 25 lbs. The employee is required to reach with
hand and arms and may sit for long periods of time. Tolerance to prolonged exposure
to a computer monitor and keyboard utilization is required. May require use of own
vehicle to attend off-site meetings and trainings or events.
