A family-focused lakefront retreat designed for grand-scale living and seamless privacy describes the Taylor Made project by award-winning outdoor living designer Ryan Hughes Design.
Encompassing a commanding 4,600 square feet of outdoor living space, Taylor Made is a signature Ryan Hughes Design composition built around a massive 1,150-square-foot pool at its heart. Designed to prioritize the family experience while creating natural separation from neighboring properties, every element of the space is purposefully layered for both function and visual impact. The pool’s interior is finished in Pebble Tech and flows into a perimeter overflow spa featuring custom jet placement and an exterior clad in Vidrepure glass tile. A dramatic 8-foot custom water feature wall anchors one side of the design, while a sunken fire pit invites evening gatherings on the opposite end. Designer surfaces throughout include marble pavers, precast concrete, wood-look porcelain tile and artificial turf, each selected to complement the architecture and elevate the lakefront setting.
Outdoor furnishings are appointed with Brown Jordan dining and table selections alongside Castelle chaise loungers and in-pool Ledge Lounger seating. A fully equipped Fire Magic outdoor kitchen rounds out the entertainment experience, while Tuuci shade and pergola structures provide refined coverage throughout the space. PAL lighting serves the pool while FX Lighting illuminates the landscape and hardscape, transforming Taylor Made from a sun-drenched family sanctuary by day into a dramatically lit lakefront experience after dark.
