Descriptions

A private, traditionally styled retreat designed to be discovered. From a welcoming courtyard at the front door to a serene poolside sanctuary with sweeping golf course views defines the Terrace View project by award-winning outdoor living designer, Ryan Hughes Design.

Set on a corner lot in Palm Harbor, Florida, Terrace View presented a unique design challenge: the property’s configuration called for the pool to be positioned in the side yard, turning the journey through the courtyard into an intentional procession. A custom fountain feature greets guests at the entry, establishing the tone of elegance and calm that carries throughout the 3,700-square-foot outdoor living space. The 640-square-foot pool, finished in Pebble Tech’s Pebble Sheen Blue Granite, anchors the design alongside a spillover spa with custom jet placement and scupper water features. A Heat N Glo fireplace and a custom solid roof pavilion establish a warm, sheltered gathering space, while a fully equipped Fire Magic outdoor kitchen completes the entertainment offering. In-pool Ledge Lounger seating and Vidrepure tile detailing add refined touches throughout.

Designer surfaces include travertine, Ipe, artificial turf and precast concrete stepping pads, grounding the traditional aesthetic across every transition in the space. PAL pool lighting and FX landscape and hardscape illumination bring Terrace View to life after dark, casting a warm glow across the golf course views that make this Palm Harbor retreat so distinctive. Ryan Hughes Design also executed the full estate landscaping, ensuring every sight line, from the front gate to the fairway, was considered as one cohesive design.
